I'd like to begin talking a little about commissions, through one of my newest works: The Girl & The Dragon commission.
Commissions are wonderful work; They're not only a way to monetize your drawings. Sometimes commissions also allow you to to refine your abilities and include many creative elements, achieving unexpected and amazing results.
That's the case of this drawing: The Girl and The Dragon. She's a fan of dragons, and medieval stuff; she also loves rock music and astronomy, and commissioned me to create a work reflecting some of her interests. So, I decided to try this pencil sketch. Once accepted, I inked it.
A second sketch, only graphite pencil (shown at right side), includes all elements. I'll maybe finish it later.
